Arrests (don't worry not me), tears, dealing with exes, fights, booze,
anxiousness, cops, fighting with car attendants, spending too much money,
dealing with pill-tripping ravers at Paul van Dyk, falling and bruising my legs all
over, fighting with my mom, being late, fighting with the dogs, waking up with
mad hangovers, exhaustion, and last but not least fighting with my hair brush.
Yes I threw it across the room because it broke. Bad hairbrush!
I think this pretty much sums up my weekend nicely in a
sentence (ok wait two, no three...) but it’s not worth going into the nitty gritty of each individual situation. Wooooosa it’s Wednesday!
On that note here is some Wednesday inspiration from our
darling Audrey Hepburn.
This means it is time to introduce you to another character
in my special circle of friends Audrey Hepburn herself, hahahaha (jokes it's
actually only Husband’s sister). However, she recently cut her hair and she
truly is looking like Audrey Hepburn.
Audrey is like my sister; I don’t have a sister, just a
rather eccentric brother (although he probably says the same about me). Anyway
Audrey is always, always, always there for me and since I have known her and
Husband my whole life, they practically are like family too me. Bar the time
she pushed me off the roof, she has always been my shining gem. She is a lot like
Hepburn, not just in looks but also because she has that old school way about
her. Gentle, kind, well mannered and a real lady. Today sorely lacks woman that
act like ladies. In fact I think it may almost be a forgotten quality.
My mom has been telling me since I was a little girl, sit
like a lady, walk like a lady, and act like a lady. Sigh. I’m still not a lady.
I laugh too loud, drink the occasional beer out a bottle, burp, trip over things, break my
nails, forget to take my make-up off at night, never throw away my laddered stockings,
and always forget to put on earrings. Apparently earrings finish an outfit off (I’m more
partial to the shoe/bag aspect of that statement but what does this boorish girl
know, hey?. Hopefully, one day I will get the picture. I have two of the
greatest role models after all my mom, and Audrey. And alot of other inspiring women. So here is hoping the chip will drop eventually (excuse the pun)
(OK, maybe not Lady Gaga, gaga and lady are total juxtapositions)
So tonight is going to be about indulgence, too much wine, greasy
pizza, and some soppy romcoms. Hope you are all indulging too…
Happy Wednesday!
Kisses,
Namaste,
Ciao,
God Bless,
Love,
Michelle
