Had a bit of a mad crazy weekend and an even wackier Monday, in more ways than one. So until I figure out how I am going to explain it to you in actual English words, (I'll leave that challenge for tomorrow) I thought I would introduce you to my most prized possessions... My two gorgeous dogs, Tibby and Sophie.
He is also one of the most photo shy dogs I have ever met in my life. If he sees anything that resembles an object pointing at him, he gives you this disapproving look, and turns and backs away. I think he likes to keep his gorgeousness private in order not to make other dogs jealous! He did after all get the looks...
This is Sophie. The princess of the house. She has everyone wrapped around her paws. Literally. She constantly wants to be the center of attention. And requires cuddles all day long. She is also a very attentive dog. Her spot to sleep at night is with my parents, but for some reason she knows when you are sad and then comes and sleeps with you instead. What a legend!
So hi guys! Here we are ready to face the world of blogging! Be kind to us we are rather nervous of this big crazy thing called the Internet!
I bought Sophie the most fabulous damask bed, and tons of 'Bark Jacobs' chew toys when she came home. Pink of course! Nothing less for my girl! Unfortunately she has turned into somewhat of a tomboy. Not really into the girly vibe. Prefers barking at Hadedas, balls (although all girls like that, hahaha) and jumping onto tables to eat packets of biltong.
This is my Tiblet when he was a puppy. In the end I chose him from the litter because he couldn't breathe out his nose properly. He literally snorted as he waddled (he totally waddled). And I was sold. The cutest fluff ball to ever have existed. (Excuse the odd photos of myself: I had just discovered photo booth on my mac circa 2005, EMBARRASSED FACE)
So the main reason why my blog is about these two fantastic animals, is because hands down, no matter how bad my day is, no matter how much anything affects me, just looking at these two go buck wild when I get home from work, makes it all worth it.
So if any of you have a special animal at home, buy them a treat today, give them a massive cuddle and lets officially declare Tuesdays I love my pet day! Their unconditional love is totally admirable! And we could do with a little more absolute love in this world.
