Candy Stacking

So my new favourite obsession is arm candy stacking. It just wraps an outfit together so fabulously! And it really is the one style titbit that really can be pulled off by anyone. Because you can go thick, thin, dainty or chunky. The only trick is to stack, stack, stack. This includes everything from your beloved timepiece, to that odd piece of string you tied on last week to not forget your laundry.

Today a girl in my office got this stacking idea down to a TEE! I basically stopped in my tracks when I saw her. It looks AMAZING. She pulled it off with aplomb! Her watch (Michael Kors) and belt bracelet is from Holland, the Louis Vuitton bracelet is a gift from her boyfriend and her silver square edge bracelet is from Topologo.

What I love about this style is that, particularly for winter when our outfits are very dull, this simple style trick ads fabulosity to even the dullest winter outfit.

So come on girls lets get stacking!

Gaga-licious

So I have found the response to Lady Gaga's venture into deep dark Africa RIDICULOUS! People we don't care if you don't like her or her music. The fact of the matter is, some of us do. And quite frankly, that is all that matters. I mean hello, I could mention a couple of bands that have visited us that are quite honestly choke-worthy and you don't see me brandishing them now, do you?

Get with the program people, it's going to be an amazing concert. We are LUCKY to have her grace us with her presence. If more artists would follow suit and visit us we might actually develop an international music culture here (WHICH IN CASE YOU MISSED THE POINT IS GOOD FOR OUR LOCAL MUSIC INDUSTRY, HELLO!!!!). If she manages to contribute to this we should all be grateful and thankful, not sour and rude. It might actually mean one of the lame ass music acts you love, that up until now have been to afraid to come here, might actually grace us with their presence. Wow, imagine that?

Look I won't lie her music is not always made of stuff I crave. But hell I am going to the show to see the fashion alone. Its going to something out of this world.

So haters gonna hate. But don't be jealous when in years to come people are still talking about the concert and your fat ass was sitting at home strumming a guitar off key. Because you emo like that.

Paris Je'taime

So a while ago, while I was driving to work Gareth Cliff spoke about Paris. He said Paris is like a girl who wakes up in the morning looking perfect. No make-up needed, easy simple flair and everyone is envious... Well I agree with him. Paris is hands down one of the most amazing cities I have visited. New York and London are cool, but Paris, baby has je ne sais quoi. And a lot of it.

So today, I am sharing my Pinterest Board with you that is completely dedicated to my favorite western city...

If I could pack my bags and go there right now I would. A Marlboro, coffee and chocolate crepe on the balcony of a hotel over-looking the Arc de Triomphe. Heaven.

Sometimes I wish I had the flair of the french. And that I could wake up looking fabulous. But for a Monday, a girl can dream. And dream I will:)
